How To Protect Your Privacy While Getting New Neighbors

Getting new neighbors in farmville can be a tricky thing, you can be adding people that you really don’t want to know and just want to have them as FarmVille neighbors, so here is a step by step process to protect your privacy while getting new neighbors.

Step 1: Go to the upper right corner and click on “Account” and then in “Edit Friends”

Step 2: Click on create a new list

Step 3: Name your list, something like FarmVille Neighbors or FarmVille Privacy

Step 4: Go to the upper right corner again and click on “Account” and then on “Privacy Settings” and on that page in “Profile Information”

Step 5: Go to the “About Me” section and on the right button choose “Customize”

Step 6: Then choose there, “Hide this from” and choose the list that you created.

Step 7: Change all the rest of different sections in the same way: personal info, birthday…etc. but except for the “Post by me” section

Step 8: Keep the post by me available for everyone, this will let your farmville friends know about your accomplishments with new ribbons and everything you share trough farmville

Step 9: Click on “Back To Privacy” on the upper left corner.

Step 10: Go to “Contact Information”

Step 11: Now change your privacy settings for all the sections there, do the same as before.

Step 12: Now that you have all the privacy setting ready, every time you add a new friend choose the FarmVille list you created:
